Materials, industries and how we work

Which elastomer for which job?

We work in six base elastomers and mix every compound in-house. Temperatures are indicative.

  • Silicone (VMQ) -60 to +225 °C
    Heat, sunlight, food and pharma contact. Soft sections down to 30 Shore A.
  • EPDM -50 to +110 °C
    Outdoors, water and steam. Not for oil or fuel.
  • FKM (Viton®) -30 to +230 °C
    Oils, fuels and chemicals at high temperature.
  • Nitrile (NBR) -40 to +110 °C
    Oil and fuel contact.
  • Neoprene (CR) -40 to +110 °C
    A middle path: fair oil resistance, good weathering.
  • SBR -40 to +90 °C
    Economical, good abrasion resistance. Pipe and water gaskets.

  • Electronics and enclosures. Panel seals and grommets for IP-rated enclosures.

How an order works
  1. Send a drawing, a sample, a photo or a description of the problem.
  2. We recommend a compound and quote, and tell you its limits before you order.
  3. Tooling is cut in our own toolroom: extrusion dies in 2 to 3 days, moulding tools within 7 days.
  4. First article for a simple part in about a week. After your approval, production, with every mix tested on our rheometer.

Is there a minimum order quantity?
No minimum order when you pay for the tooling.
What order sizes do you handle?
From prototypes to millions of pieces.
Can you replace an imported rubber part?
Yes. Send a sample, drawing or datasheet. We reverse-engineer it and make it here, often for less than it costs to import.
Do you make food-grade and potable-water silicone?
Yes. Grades formulated to FDA 21 CFR 177.2600, BfR XV, USP Class VI and BS 6920 (WRAS). Tell us the documents your industry needs and we confirm the grade before you order.
Do you supply outside India?
Yes. We have supplied the United States since 2002.
Will you sign an NDA?
Yes.
Can you send samples?
Yes, samples can be delivered. A part that is not a standard item may need some development cost.
How fast do you reply to an enquiry?
Usually within 24 to 48 hours.
